Day One A Big Success!

What a great first day! After starting the day with huge lines at the security checkpoint in Wichita and barely making the flight with everyone, we are here!  Atlanta airport turned out to be easy as we only had 3 gates separating our flights! Smooth flights and even those flying for the first time survived without any problems.
First stop: Downtown Disney, a beautiful shopping and dining area.  There were bands and choirs performing on the stage so we were able to get an idea of our performance venue’s logistics.  After lunch and some shopping and sightseeing we were off to the Arabian Nights Dinner Theater. Beautiful horses, a fun story, incredible horseback riding, good food, incredible stunts, and a little magic were a great way to end our first day.  Of course it really wasn’t over yet.
Once we got to the hotel, room assignments, unloading the luggage from the trailer and venturing up the elevator for the first time was accomplished in very short order.  That’s because most of the kids wanted to hit the pool.  Jumping, Diving, Dunking and soaking were definitely in order. We found out you can fit 22 Cardinals in the hot tub.
Pictures of the day will be loaded as quickly as possible.  I’m trying to get as many candid’s of the kids as possible. It’s sometimes tough when they spread out, but I’ll do my best! Tomorrow we have a long wonderful day at Epcot Center.  Weather is supposed to be in the 80’s so we are looking forward to a beautiful day!  Check back tomorrow for more of our adventures.  The photo link is on the right side of the blog page!
